ST. LOUIS聽鈥 The investors that bought Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. amid bankruptcy announced plans Monday to revive another beleaguered beer brand.
O'Fallon Brewery's pumpkin beer and other seasonal favorites will soon be available for retail sale and on tap at Urban Chestnut locations and partner restaurants throughout the region, company leaders announced Monday.
The move will revive the O'Fallon Brewery brand after the company quietly ceased operations and auctioned off its equipment last year. It also marks the latest expansion effort from Urban Chestnut chairman Brian Travers, whose Ladue-based company Keg Holdings purchased the company amid bankruptcy for $2.55 million.

"We're excited to get O'Fallon Pumpkin Beer back on the shelf," Travers said in a news release. "It was one of the first seasonal pumpkin beers available in the region years ago, and we're bringing back this fan favorite in time for fall."
O'Fallon beer will be available at Urban Chestnut's Midtown Biergarten and Bierhall in the Grove, as well as other restaurants and bars that feature Urban Chestnut beers, starting in August.
