Letter: Any election outcome Trump dislikes is 'rigged.' That's dangerous.

Here we go again. President Donald Trump is now alleging the mayoral election in Los Angeles is corrupt or was stolen. He’s claiming this because, in his mind, it takes too long to count the ballots.

Regarding Collin Preciado’s op-ed "×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ should put public safety ahead of pit bull rights" (June 10), about the supposed widespread danger of pit bulls, proposes banning the dogs from all metro areas, including ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ´´, and even raises the alarming prospect of a national ban.

Letter: Missouri antisemitism law properly balances civil rights, free speech

Aisha Sultan's column "How a new Missouri law will chill free speech about Israel, Palestine" (June 5) argues that Missouri's new antisemitism law threatens free speech. The text of the law says otherwise.

Letter: 60 Minutes controversy shows the collapse of CBS' historic integrity

Letter: 60 Minutes controversy shows the collapse of CBS' historic integrity

When I interviewed for a job at CBS Radio in New York in 1978, I was asked to rewrite the five-minute news brief delivered at the top of the hour by Walter Cronkite, which was sent from the Associated Press via teletype to stations all over the country. All AP copy was sent that way; station…

Letter: Missouri's new law is the right response to antisemitic intimidation

Letter: Missouri's new law is the right response to antisemitic intimidation

Given her own childhood experiences with discrimination and bullying in public school, Aisha Sultan’s column in opposition to Missouri’s recent adoption of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism was baffling. ("How a new Missouri law will c…

As the ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ region explores Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in the Northside-Southside corridor, it is important to understand that the value of public transit accessibility extends well beyond the ride itself. • Jun 11, 2026

As a Unitarian Universalist Christian, I find myself in an unusual position.
