JENNINGS — Jarrell Rideout-Anderson likes to keep a low profile.
"I'm kind of nonchalant," the Jennings High junior running back said.
Rideout-Anderson's days of flying under the radar are fading fast.
The 5-foot-9, 170-pound speedster put on a big-time show Saturday afternoon. So did his teammates.
Jennings scored early and often on the way to a 69-0 win over Brentwood-Clayton in a Suburban Conference Blue Pool football contest at Jennings High.
The Warriors improved to 7-0 with another in a series of dominating performances. They have outscored their opponents 321-40 this season including a 248-7 run over the last four games.
The north ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ County school is off to its best start since at least before 1999.

Rideout-Anderson returned a pair of punts for touchdowns in the first half to kick-start his team to the one-sided win.
Senior quarterback Jeremy Ingrum turned in a monster performance as well, going 10 for 14 for 312 yards and seven touchdowns. Senior wideout Zay Henderson caught four TD passes for a combined 213 yards.
Yet it was the special teams work by Rideout-Anderson that shined brightest on a day full of highlights for the hosts.
"He's the best Class 4 running back in the state," Jennings first-year coach Darrell Green said. "No doubt in my mind."
Rideout-Anderson is on a scoring binge. He returned two punts and one kickoff for touchdowns in a 66-7 win over Duchesne on Oct. 3.
"Once he gets the ball, I just turn around and wave because he's gone," said Henderson, who had his own set of huge plays. "He's that good. He gets rolling like he was today and you know he's going to score."
Rideout-Anderson took the first punt on a bounce and rolled 64 yards for a TD with 5:58 left in the opening frame. Following a three-and-out by the Jennings defense, he took a short punt back 41 yards for a score. The two touchdowns in 3:29 pushed the lead to 21-0 and sent the hosts on their way. He added a 5-yard TD run in the second half.
Jennings led 33-0 after one quarter and 55-0 at the break. The entire second half was played with a running clock.
Rideout-Anderson has developed into a special teams wizard.Â
"It's all about vision, and I think I've got pretty good vision," Rideout-Anderson said. "And my teammates really made some great blocks."
The Jennings offense sailed up and down the field almost at will.
"Everything just came right at me, I didn't have to force anything," said Ingrum, who has thrown 20 touchdowns without an interception this season. "Everybody was open. We just kept moving the ball and came up with plays when we needed them."
Henderson scored on TD passes of 91 and 74 yards in the second quarter. His first catch-and-run pumped the lead to 42-0 just 113 seconds into the second quarter.
Junior Micah Brown also hauled in a pair of touchdown passes to keep the large homecoming crown entertained.
"I'm just so proud of my guys for coming out and putting on a good show for the community today," Green said. "The community showed up for us, and we handled business. But, I'm still working on them coming up with a complete game."
Ingrum said this year's turnaround began during spring workouts and continued in the weight room over the summer.
"We came out and worked hard to change things," Ingrum said. "So far, we've been taking it to another level."
Ingrum will get no argument from the Greyhounds (1-6, 1-3), who were simply overmatched from the opening whistle.
"(Jennings) was just so fast, fast, fast," Brentwood-Clayton coach Doug Verby said. "Speed kills."
The Warriors have their sights set on a conference title and some postseason success. They close the regular season at home at 6 p.m. Oct. 24 against University City (6-1, 3-0) to decide the league title.
"I'm confident that we're going to keep right on going," Henderson said.
