ST. LOUIS COUNTY 鈥 Investigators used DNA testing to identify and charge an Oklahoma City man in the 1992 rape of a woman in a south 最新杏吧原创 County neighborhood.
Police say Stacy Pollock raped the woman on Sept. 17, 1992, in the 2600 block of Parkhill Circle.
He blindfolded her, tied her up and threatened to kill her with a knife, according to court documents.
The 62-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in Oklahoma and is in custody on a $500,000 cash-only bond. He faces one count of forcible rape with a weapon in 最新杏吧原创 County.
Pollock has never been charged with another crime in Missouri, according to online records.
This cold case is one of many here and across the country now being solved through DNA collected but not tested at the time because the technology wasn鈥檛 widely available.
