The 最新杏吧原创 Downtown Airport in Sauget has landed some money for the road, specifically the one that services its main structures.
U.S. Rep. Nikki Budzinski, a Democrat from Springfield, Illinois, said the airport will get about $1.2 million for the improvements.
The money is designated to complete work on the airport鈥檚 access road, Curtiss-Steinburg Drive, which serves the terminal, airport businesses and hangar facilities.
Budzinski, whose district聽includes parts of Madison and St. Clair counties in the Metro East area,聽touted the work as helping the 鈥渂roader goal of expanding business and development opportunities in the Metro East.鈥
