ST. LOUIS COUNTY聽鈥 Alberici Corp. aims to expand beyond construction through its investment in a local real estate services firm.聽
The parent company of the Overland-based contractor, one of the largest in the region, has taken an ownership stake in LCG Capital Management, a company that specializes in real estate development, brokerage, property management and other services.
Alberici will have an active role on the LCG board of directors, though LCG will continue to operate independently under co-founder and CEO Rob Goltermann, according to a release. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.聽

Through its subsidiaries Alberici Constructors and Flintco, the company works in a variety of industries, including commercial, health care and aerospace. With LCG, the company said it wants to expand what it can offer to customers as well as increase its capabilities beyond construction.聽

鈥淎s markets continue to evolve, we want to be there to fill needs beyond construction where helpful,鈥 he said.聽
LCG was launched last year by Goltermann and Ian Silberman and Scott Bitney, the latter of whom also founded and led Location Commercial Real Estate in Clayton.聽
Goltermann and Silberman will serve on the LCG board along with Alberici Corp. chairman聽Greg Kozicz and Anthony Clark, an Austin, Texas-based real estate executive.聽
