Buddy is a 10-month-old Labrador retriever mix who came to HSMO鈥檚 Macklind Avenue shelter in June as a stray. He is a sweet and smart young dog who would love to go on adventures. He loves toys, walks outside and would excel in an obedience class.聽

Avaric is a 23-year-old quarter horse who came to Longmeadow Rescue Ranch last November from an investigation by the Humane Society of Missouri鈥檚 Animal Cruelty Task Force. Avaric won the Longmeadow team over immediately with his sweet personality. He has been easy to handle on the ground and enjoys the company of his equine buddies. With an intermediate rider and a little patience, the Longmeadow team believes this gelding would make a wonderful addition to any herd.
