CHICAGO — A University of Chicago assistant professor who was one of five people arrested during a protest outside the Immigration and Customs Enforcement holding facility in Broadview last week faces felony charges for allegedly spitting on an Illinois State Police trooper, according to court records.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker spoke with MSNBC Senior Political and National Correspondent Jacob Soboroff in Chicago, where he responded to the president's call for him to be jailed, saying Trump is "breaching the Constitution."
