A tornado warning for St. Charles and parts of St. Charles County expired at 4 p.m.Â
National Weather Service meteorologists issued the warning after seeing a tornado confirmed by radar.
A flash flood warning is in effect for much of the same area that had been under the tornado warning.
Small, pea-sized hail is also possible, the agency said.
The latest severe storms come shortly after a deadly, EF-3 tornado struck the region on May 16.
