ST. LOUIS 鈥 A last-minute community food drive at the City Foundry was one of many grassroots drives held this week after word came that more than 650,000 Missourians would lose essential food benefits because of the government shutdown, beginning Saturday.

Where: The District STL, east end of the parking lot, 17057 N. Outer 40 Rd., Chesterfield.
