ST. LOUIS COUNTY 鈥 A baby girl will be put up for adoption after she was anonymously surrendered to a drop-off box in Mehlville for newborns whose parents are unable to care for them, officials said Monday.

On Thursday February 8th a newborn baby girl was retrieved from the Safe Haven Box by members of the Mehlville Fire District who cared for her and transported her to a hospital for further care. Today we celebrate a life saved and I can think of nothing greater.
