The trip:聽 Having always wanted to visit Berlin, the family used the marathon as an excuse to go there. They spent some time in Amsterdam, then went to Breddenberg, Germany, to visit the Honigfort relatives and finally to Berlin for the marathon. After the marathon, they traveled through Brussels and Bruges, two truly beautiful cities that were very walkable.
Travel tip: Running a marathon in a foreign city gives you a whole new perspective on a city and its people.聽
