For the freshest produce you can find, you have to go to the source — the farmers themselves.
That's easy if you're a farmer or you live where there are a lot of farms. If not, don't worry — the farmers will come to you. All you have to do is stop by your nearest farmers market and they will be there, happy to sell you their best blueberries and biscuits, peaches and pies, rhubarb and raspberries and radishes.
And soap. Lots and lots of soap. If you go to a farmers market this season, there is a good chance you'll come back very, very clean.
